How to install Canon 260 and 261 ink cartridges in your printer

1. Make sure your printer is on
2. Lift the top lid of your printer
3. Wait until the carriage stops moving as it aligns itself before you do anything else
4. Once the carriage has stopped moving, pull up the latch to remove the empty cartridge
5. Unpack and remove the plastic wrap and the clip from the new cartridge
6. Carefully pull off the tape from the electronic chip without touching the chip with your fingers
7. Place the new cartridge in the slot and lower the latch to secure it in place
8. Close the printer lid and wait until the printer initializes and you're ready to print
